One gallon of each might leave you a little short so buy 2 of each. That'll make 4 gallons and you'll surely have some left. One packet of tabs (6) will do. Use 4-6. Manual says 3, former guru said 6, I used 4.

When I replaced the coolant in my SLS, It used about 1.5 gallons of new mix. That includes refilling the surge tank. That is all that came out. The entire system holds about 2.5 gallons, so more than half was replaced. According to our past guru, that is plenty for replenishing the protection additives that are in the coolant. I use 6 tabs of the bars leak. You can find the GM stuff at your local dealer. It isn't as expensive as you would think.
