Does anyone know where you can get an AC-Delco GF440.

That is the fuel filter that has 3 lines, one being a return line back to the gas tank.

I guess they were only made for the '68 and they are as rare as hens teeth.

Does anyone have a fix that would eliminate this filter but provide the same function.

No in line filters I have found have a return line.

I found mine on ebay. You're right, they are hard to locate. I have 4 of them stashed that I have collected over the years. Another solution would be to find a fuel pump and gas lines (fuel pump to carb)off a '69. The return line is on the fuel pump instead of the filter. With the fan belts and fan right where the gas filter is, there is not much room to do other types of modifications. That's what I am eventually going to have to do.

Run a regular filter, then put a T fitting after it.
