I am attempting to add an amplifier and additional subwoofer to my 2000 cadillac sls. I will be running the existing subwoofer amp's speaker wires into a high-level/low-level rca converter into the new aftermarket amplifier.
My question is this:
What color wire going into the existing amplifier is the remote turn-on lead? (The 12+ volt wire that is hot only when the radio is on).
I know coming from the radio it is supposed to be yellow, but there is no yellow wire going into the rear factory amp, and I'm attempting not to have to get behing the factory head unit.
