I installed American Racing long tube headers; they are 1 7/8 stainless steel.
I ordered the high flow cats, but I received the off road pipes. I could not wait till I receive the cats, so I installed the headers, the sound is greet and defiantly feels faster

Was not that difficult, it took 5 hours from start to finish, including 30 min for lunch. I will give it 5/10 in the difficulty scale. Once you remover the finder liners it’s very easy, except the last header bolt driver side, it’s hard to get

No cats, but i am planing to install high flow cats

Do you know if american racing makes them? Or is it someone else?

They probably make them, they are a spin off of Kooks, some guys started ARH after leaving Kooks, or that's the story going around anyway.

I have the engine light after 100 m, I did not check the code yet.
I have Predator tune

Thats good. Someone told me it sounded like I have an exhaust leak with mine and others tell me its just valvetrain noise, because of more airflow. Does this sound right?

Yes you will hear the valves thru the headers a lot more than you would with the cast iron manifolds

That's kind of what I was wondering too. Do they recommend re-torquing the header bolts after a few heat cycles? Some header companies/applications require it, others it makes no difference whatsoever. Maybe has to do something with the head's material (aluminum versus cast iron)...?

Unlike the old days the header bolts never got loose on my last few cars/trucks, never hurts to check them at the next oil change

Curious if anyone got their headers "Jethot" coated on here and if it reduced the enigne valve noise associated with headers? Has anyone compared the American racing headers with Kooks? Just curious as to why one would choose one brand over the other, and what the differences are between the two?
