Hi, I'm a Brit.living in France since 2005. I've got an '83 Fleetwood and a somewhat neglected '86 Coupe De Ville that I'm gradually tidying up. I also have a '38 Buick Special and a '65 Panhard 17 bt that require frequent servicing and take up some of my time. I have just posted a plea for help regarding the removal of the instrument top panel on the Coupe because I don't think a bigger hammer is going to help this time. When I work out how to submit photos I'll attempt to add some relevant pics.

See if your car (dash top panel one) is supported by www.alldatadiy.com. If it is, that's the online version of the original GM/Cadillac service manuals.

p.s. - I just looked in my Alldata subscription - your CDV is supported. It would be instant gratification for you...........

Thanks. I have a factory service manual for the Fleetwood, but the fixings are all pretty obvious, unlike this Coupe so any other source of information will be invaluable.
