Ally Financial

I finally got my ESV this past weekend and financed with Ally Financial. After I got home, I googled Ally since I never heard of them and the reviews are horrible. Anyone here financed with Ally and any issues with them?

BTW...so far the ESV drives well, no vibration, cluck noise. The day I picked up the vehicle, it rained the whole day...I think we had like 7 inches of rain that day. I climbed up and but silicone where I see that small cap/opening by antenna like Blit184 suggested. So far, the only complaint, is the cameras...it was so blurry...maybe b/c it was due to the rain.

Thanks!

I have used Ally in the past with zero issues.
I have used Ally in the past with zero issues.
Me too. Just fine.
GMAC changed to Ally and Ally gave me 0% on my 2009 escalade hybrid. This time my dealer used GMAC financial for finance.
My '08, '11, and '15 leases were/are through Ally.

Never had any problems.
Had Ally a few times when they were offering 0%, they have no branches it's an online thing, they were no trouble at all, would use them again if they offered 0% ;)
Thanks all! Glad to hear that no one has issues with Ally here.
Soon Ally will no longer be providing financing to Cadillac buyers. I believe starting in March. Our dealer informed us of this and we googled it and its true....

That is correct that's why my dealer used GMA financial.

Well, I guess the dealership where I purchased the vehicle is still using Ally since I just purchased it this past weekend.
I like Ally.
I have not had any problems with them.

That's what my dealer said as well hence got the GM financial.
Used them for a few years, no issues. But never really dealt with them.
As with most financing, make your payments on time and you should be fine. Also, if you are worried when your financing is finished, make sure to get in writing a letter confirming that all payments have been made if full there is $0 balance on account and most important, the lean against you has been discharged.

Lastly, if you must communicate with them for any reason ie. You change your bank account info or address, get the name, employee ID, confirmation number, date and time of your call etc. for the call you make to them to have your info changed. I was financed through GMAC once and changed bank account #, I called them right away to inform them and they forgot to change the info so the next payment was NSF. Since I had all the info from my call, they realized their error and corrected everything as well as giving me a letter confirming that this was their error and my credit rating would not be affected.
