Starts Cold with a click, When hot takes a lot turnovers but will start in 10 to 15 seconds.
Backfire sometimes
Push Gas peddle down to get gas to injectors.

Anyone else have this issue?

BJ- I had a similar situation (92). Check the dip stick? Couple of quarts overfull?
Mine was caused by an injector that was hung open supplying gas all the time. I had done a series of individual injector replacements and one was faulty. Ordered a set of rebuilds from Allante Source and no problems since.
Good Luck.

Actually , what You are doing by pushing the gas pedal down is termed "Clear flood mode".
So as suggested , a good place to start would be the (most likely) multec injectors.

I tend to agree, leaking injector! The throttle peddle only affects air into the engine, not fuel. Held completely down, it shuts off the injectors to clear a flooded engine.
