I plan on installing a Monroe 90009 rear shock conversion to my '98 ETC. Obviously I will add resistors to the solenoid plugs to "trick" the computer.

My question is regarding the pump itself. Is it okay to remove it, or do i need to keep it installed and connected to keep codes from popping up?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure of your situation, but I would disconnect for now. I would have posted this in the Eldorado section above also. Not many peruse this area...

Your car does not have "air ride'. You are working with the Electronic Level Control (aka Automatic Level Control) which compensates for extra weight in the trunk or rear seats. The system has nothing to do with your CVRSS control.
