I have a 1990 Fleetwood. I just had the a.c. recharged but the damn vents won't open 100%. What should I do to fix the problem? Does it have to do with the vacuum system and is there an easy fix? Or does anyone know about how mush to fix? Would appreciate any replies.:worship:

I assume the blower motor is working. Check the vacuum supply line at the firewall, usually on the passenger side. Make sure there is vacuum there. If there is no vacuum there, follow the line back to see where the break is. If there is vacuum there, then move under the dash and look for broken or disconnected vacuum lines.

The parking brake release is also on this vacuum circuit. Does it release properly when the car is placed in gear? If not, concentrate there.

Thanks alot. I will check those things out and get back to you. The E brake works fine, so it must be a broken or leaky line. Cause the air does come out a little and I can hear things functioning, but not like it should. I should need my jacket when that ac is pumping, but I still sweat. Thanks again.
