I just bought a used 97 Concours Deville with a supposed 78k miles with the AC functioning fairly decently. The next day I got a message reading "A/C refridgerant too low....A/C compressor is off" so I went to autozone to buy more AC. It turns out it was not low, but way over so we had to release most of it to bring the pressure down to a normal level. The message would not change, and so we could not get the compressor to start running. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it and the message is gone and the compressor seems to run, but now there is no cold air! The compressor seems to be working, and there is plenty of refridgerant, what should I do? Thanks in advance to anyone out there reading this.
