Yes, that really sucks especially since I have been told the tensioners etc are no longer available.

Men's mall =junkyard crawling. LOL. I prefer to call them salvage yards. We have an excellent salvage yard not far from where I live. Quite a number of Devilles, however I believe removing a seat belt tensioner would be an exercise in futility. I'll give the site you mention a try.

At $4.73 + tax for the buckle and a buck to get in, an hour and its done.
5-10 min gets the seat out of the way

Enterprise, could you please expand on your post. Are you saying the passenger side seat belt tension er is available?

Was about to suggest the same thing of checking out a junk yard. I have bought entire airbags basically for free because they were inside the steering wheels I was buying, though it seems you need a different part.
