Car stalls sometimes when coming off the gas - seems like the solendiod at the throttle body lets the throttle come back too far and kills the engine.. Happens more when i am around 7 gallons or less so i was told it could be the fuel tank baffle. Any way to increase the minimum idle speed or something?

Early '90's Devilles have been known to have baffles in the tanks go bad, so when in a low fuel condition and making a turn or stopping, fuel sloshes to one side, pump sucks air and the engine starves for fuel. Keep it above 1/2 tank. If it does not happen anymore, that is your problem.

I had a very similar problem on my 90 CDV - the engine would cut out on right turns when the fuel level was below 4 gallons, although I never had to use the key to restart. It would catch when the car leveled out. I just learned to accept the fact that my tank was effectively 4 gallons smaller.
