My dealer sells a lot of after market parts here in Orange County. Mostly from Vogue Tyre. I would suspect you will not find many 17s since there isn't much demand for them and it doesn't exactly fit the criteria of DUBs. You can see some some aftermarket rims at http://vogue-tyre.com/gallery/index.php?UserYear=2005&UserMake=Cadillac&UserModel=SRX&db_id=&article_id=&ID=

On a side note, has anyone come across any 20s with black centers with chrome lips? I was wondering if they make them for the SRX.

Due to the lack of snow tires available in the OE 18" size, I opted for a set of 17" Pirelli Scorpion 235/65 ice & snow tires mounted on Mille Miglia 1000 17x8 wheels for my '04 SRX AWD V8. Fits fine, no spacers needed.

These approximate the rollling diameter of the 18" 235/60 front and 255/55 rear Michelins.

I got mine locally, but here is a link to some information:

http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_garage/WheelSearch.jsp?&autoMake=Cadillac&autoModel=SRX+AWD+V6&autoYear=2004&autoModClar=

BTW, I think they have been discontinued, since they've lowered the price since last year.

Beauty, as the saying goes, is in the eye of the beholder, but I think these wheels look sharp.

They make a six lug version that will fit the SRX. The picture that Tire Rack shows with the Mille Miglia MM-S on an SRX is not accurate. Click on the "17 x 8" size under the MM-S wheel and the correct specs will appear at the left of the screen; 6 lug on a 115 mm radius.

BTW, if you install these, or any other wheels for that matter, without the tire pressure sensors, you will get soon get an error message in the dash "tire pressure sensor malfunction" or something similar. Since I only run these snow tires during the winter, I left the sensors on the original wheels. I just press it, and it goes away. But it will eventually reappear. I think the sensors are around $75 each!

Just reading this past post regarding aftermarket wheels for the SRX -I am searching for 17" chrome wheels without any luck - just wondered if you went ahead with these 17 X 8 with 6 bolt pattern in bright silver paint...if so, how do they look? :hmm:

Skiman - are these from Tirerack?? I managed to locate some chrome wheels manufactured by Alba - several different styles will fit the 17X7.5 size, but they don't come cheap. Are the ones you put on that size as well, or are they 18's?

The wheels in the pictures are 17", with 235/65 Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow tires both front and rear. I have a 2004 SRX AWD V8, which comes with stock 18" wheels. After seeing these on the TireRack website last year as fitting my car, I bought them through a local tire dealer, who matched TireRack's price. I paid $200 per wheel at the time. I think this wheel has been discontinued, since the price has dropped dramatically since then.

I went with the 17" size because the selection of 18" snow tires that fit the SRX was very limited, and the cost savings was huge.

Interesting that you have a V8 with AWD - I didn't think that you would need snows with that set up. Having RWD is a different duck entirely - and I have the same Scorpion Snow & Ice snows as you do, in 17's. I have located 17 X 17.5 chrome wheels on Wheelpros.com - by ALBA. They actually have several different styles that will fit the SRX, although the may have to customize the 6 lug pattern on original wheels. The tire pressure moniters aren't cheap, either. Tire Rack has advised that they will be coming out with 17" chrome wheels for the SRX this spring, FYI. I think the wheels you chose look terrific, though! Most likely, they are no longer being manufactured. How's the weather in Ontario?

I live in metro Denver Colorado, and go skiing a lot. I have a place in the Mountains (Steamboat). The parking lot there is not plowed regularly, so having snow tires really helps. I recently backed it out through 18" of new snow, no problem. Even though the SRX has both traction and stability control, the added grip that good snow tires offer really helps when cornering or braking, especially at highway speeds.:) I saw quite a few vehicles in the ditch on my last trip.

By the way, just because these wheels are no longer manufactured, doesn't mean you can't get them.

I just ordered 17 X 17.5 chrome wheels by Alba from a guy in OH who will drill out the 6 lug pattern - there are so few wheels available in this oddball size! But thanks - maybe you could post your wheels on E-bay?
