Hello,

I live in Toronto Onatrio and looking to buy a 2013 or 2014 Escalade. I have been to a few GM dealerships trying to work out a deal. Every time we try and negotiate a deal, the extended warranty from the dealer is sky high. Around $5000 for an extra 3 years or 60k. The mileage of the trucks I am looking at range from 80000km to 115000km. I found a company that will sell 5 year 100k from the date I purchase for $3000 ($100 deductible or $3200 no deductable). Will Cadillac dealerships accept aftermarket warranty?

Thanks!

Maybe, maybe not.

Take the sum of money, or start a deposit program, into your own money market account. Self-insure - that way it's YOUR money, you get the interest instead of someone else, and you'll have a decent nest egg if you need only incidental repairs/maintenance during the 3 year term.
