After several HID kits using cambia and even a relay harness. The HID triggering was not 100% reliable. I switched back to halogens using the H9 modification. Even with the higher HID lamp output previously the low beams are as we know not acceptable. I think it may have become worse possibly wear on the reflector. With that said has anyone had success with a set of aftermarket headlights? I noted that some use H1 and H7 bulbs. I may consider staying with halogens as I am tired of parts swapping with HID components. Thanks!

My experience is that people who play with their lights wind up blinding me as they drive down the street. Too few are smart enough to take their final product to a place that can do proper alignment.
