Sh*t, that price has come down...to bad I've completely blown my budget and then some... Oh well, maybe in January... Then again I'm still interested in the

Related topic, some people have expressed concern that the V-grill is too flashy or will make you look like a "v-poser" (no names!). Therefore I suggested that someone try blacking out the mesh part of that grill to give it a unique appearance. Someone around here has done this (I guess they get credit for coming up with the idea because they had done it before I mentioned it in the forums). I was playing Forza Motorsport on x-box the other day and realized thats what they did with the grill in the game as well. If I could get you guys a screen shot, this is where I'd post a pick of my cashmere V with about 750 hp, but I cant figure that out so you'll all just have to go without... Just wanted to let you know its out there.

personally i dont really like the black behind the logo on the dual
I've noticed that on the aftermarket grills and have to agree with you, I dont particularly like it. The stock (GM) V-grill doesnt have this black piece, its got mesh behind the emblem.

Are the aftermarket grilles very good quality ? Are there any preferred suppliers among you guys ? Thanks, and by the way I like the pics of your cars.
Pay for the original V grill. If your dealer does the install, it will be covered under warranty. You can feel the difference in quality. The dealership I bought mine at tried to sell me the B & G first because they had it in stock. I'm glad I waited. :cloud9:

I installed the stock V grill on my gf's 3.2 in about 30 min. Very easy install. She loves it and the compliments she receives. The grill blocks the view behind just fine. Not sure what side of the Sound you're on, but I can help you out if needed.
