Adding subs/amp to escalade

I'm working with a 2002 Escalade with Bose. I want to add 2 10" subs and an amp.

Are there going to be preouts on the back of the factory stereo? I need to run RCA cables to that, correct?

I'm not real sure how this works because I've read about a LOC but I don't really know why I need it or what wires it will give me. Definitely looking for input. Thanks!

well if you tap the rear door speaker leads with a high quality line converter you can use that to feed signal to your external amp. youll spend 50 bucks for a good one and that'll do it.
