Button on the steering wheel is one way. Left hand side, small round button above the Steering wheel warmer button. Not 100%, but it is there. When you hit it, it will adjust the distance choice. I'm sure others will chime in also. Best feature for long drives!

That button will have a symbol with a car in it for Adaptive Cruise Control, or just a star if it is a distance set button. And when you push it the symbols on the DIC will be similar, a car (for following distance) for Adaptive Cruise, or a star (for notification difference) if no Adaptive Cruise.

I looked more closely. The button has two cars, bumper to bumper, with a star in the middle and a left facing arrow below them. When I press it up to six red lights are projected on the windshield from a slot in the padded dash. The DIC says Collision Alert and also shows a car with beams and red stripes in front. I can,t find anything in the manual about this. Capt. George

Yes! You have Adaptive Cruise Control. The Red Stripes are for the Distance you will be away from the car in front of you when Cruse is set. I find that the furthest is the best for me. Great feature! For long trips, it is indispensable.

You bet. I forgot the DIC will only show a car in front (when adjusting) if there is something within sensor range.
