I have a 92 Deville that the accelerator sticks from time to time. Along with this, I just noticed that the starter maybe sticking too. Not sure if this has anything to due with the BCM that over the years gives me problems(ghosts that after awhile go away). Kinda puzzled! Anyone have a clue?

I have done all this and have no issues with those parts. the auto idler actually pushes out on the throttle farther at different times. And now it is MOODY. Some days I need the gas pedal to go 35 and most days I can idle that fast. Last time this happened, it quite doing it after a month. And 2 weeks of that time. I had given up on fixing it. still lost?!

Maybe I put it the wrong way. what controls the idle? is it the BCM? over the years i have noticed how sensitive it is. if the BCM controls the idle, will something like a sticking starter say that it needs more gas?
