I remember Chad said I should post some so I finally got around to it.

It is not shifting at redline and I believe it is because of the big rubber floor mats that are lying on the floor partially under the gas pedal. I may have been able to get a little more out of her if I had taken them out beforehand.

First video is with exhaust cutout opened. This is where I realized it wasn't floored all the way (although it seems slightly quicker). The second video I tried to mash it down harder, but didn't pull the mat out.

0-60 seems to be about 9 seconds. I'm only going to mod it a little more, and I think those mods are going to be an LT1 cam, a better intake and throttle body spacer, and a tune from TBIchips.com

We'll see what happens though. The car has 135,000 miles on it.

Chad, you test drove a '93 Brougham . So, can you remember the performance of the L05 engine and compared to the I6 W140 ?

The L05 is all bottom end grunt and the M104 (I-6) has a fair amount of low end torque, but the top end, especially above about 4,000 is really where she shines.

I think they rated the LT1 Roadmaster at 7.8 seconds 0-60, do you think your L05 feels faster?

Nice vids!

Just throwin this out there, but I think the L05 Roadmaster was rated at like 9.5 seconds or so stock.

I seen numbers anywhere from low 9 to 10 second 0-60's. So I guess I'm on the lower end. I have the towing package, so that gives me an advantage with the 3.08 gears,

Oh yeah, you're car sounds awesome.
Thanks, I 'll have to go take a video walking around the car while messing with the electric cutout.
