My ac has been driving me crazy. Thought it was just low on R-134. That wasn't it. It comes on for a couple minutes then shuts off. After that first 5 minutes or so it goes on and off every minute or so. The codes I got from the OBD are DTC B0429 Temperature Control #3 Rear Circuit Range/Performance and DTC P0532 Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage. From reading the archives on here I am thinking it is the low side pressure switch. Any input is appreciated. Any advice on locating the switch would be appreciated too.

If the system is anything close to my STS the A/C refrigerant low pressure switch is in the line after the expansion orifice, just about at the passenger side of the firewall.

Our systems take a very specific weight of r134a. Not pressure - weight.

You need to look at the parts diagram again, read your posts and our replies, and work on the correct pressure switch.

The high pressure side is at the compressor discharge; the low pressure side is after the expansion valve/orifice.
