Have a 2002 STS AC blower that will not start on engine startup. Replaced blower motor, checked ground, replaced motor controller and IPM, problem persists. AC blower will start by turning the AC off then back on. Took voltage readings and verified when turned off then back on that all readings are as they should be. All fuses are good to the blower, controller, and IPM. Any help will be appreciated.

You keep saying "AC blower". You also said, "AC blower will start by turning the AC off then back on". Are you talking about the HVAC blower or the A/C compressor?

....... and it depends on if the HVAC (entire climate control system) is set to AUTO or manual.

It's the HVAC blower (fan) motor, the one under the dash (passenger side). It does this in both manual and auto. If I turn the AC off then stop the engine, on re-start I have to turn the AC on, off, then back on to get the fan to come back on. Reviewed alot of the posts here and couldn't anything similar to this issue. Thanks...

Have you pulled the DTC's?
Is the replacement blower AC Delco or an aftermarket, and if so, where did it come from?

Pulled codes, nothing related to climate control. Got and replaced fan from Amazon item TYC 700098, same as OEM, fit perfectly.
TYC 700098

Sorry for the bold pasted from Amazon
