I have a 1993 Cadillac Seville. I recently had new rear brakes put on my car. After that the abs light and “traction disabled” came on and stayed on any ideas what triggered this?

They unpluged or knocked loose the wheel speed sensor plug on the back of the hub. You most likely have a DTC for a bad sensor or an open or no continuity.

I'm new to working on these cars, but in my case, though I had front brake line work, is check the ground cable that goes to the abs/traction controller. I'm not real sure on the name of part, but if you look under the air filter box you'll see the part Im talking about. It will have a ground wire on it, on the far right of it. Mine was unhooked after my brake work. Hope this helps.
