so i got the code that indicates camshaft sensor...so i replaced it. still the code. so i was going to replace the connector and/or wire. so has anyone ever replaced the connector and/or wire? where does the wire end up at? while, looking for an answer on the board, someone said the crankshaft sensors... i replaced the crankshaft sensors and that crankshaft code went away. any help is appreciated. thanks

Remember, the code will not go into history and extinguish the SES light until you have 3 successful ignition cycles with no fault detected (or you manually clear it).

To find out "where wires go" takes some in-depth study of wiring schematics. The GM/Helm service manuals or www.alldatadiy.com

CMP - CaMshaft Position sensor - in the front of the right (rear) cylinder head exhaust cam sprocket. Wiring and harness.
