high i´m from germany and we are planning a trip to the usa in spring next year. for the tour we will buy a used cadillac deville 94 to 97.
i`ve had the opportunity to drive one in germay. from this moment it was clear i have to own one.
its an amazing car. i love it`s spacy room an it`smooth drive.
the question is how it is possible to buy a car while siting in germany.
is it possible to trust the used-car-dealership.
i`m happy about any help.
so have all a good time and a lot of pleasure with your cady´s.

all the best from germany

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS.
Glad to see a cadillac fan outside the US
Well about "trusting" a salesman at a used car dealership I wouldn't without some research about the company.
I am a salesman and sometimes i don't trust myself with the things i sell. Its all about presentation.

If you already are planning to come here i would wait

Hey cobradax427 - Welcome to the CadillacForums! Wow, it sounds like you have a nice Porsche and Cobra there - how fast are they? Do you want the Deville just to be different or do you find it has advantages over the BMW's, Mercedes, etc., that are available to you over there. Do you see many Cadillacs on the autobahn?

High sandman
the porsche is driven by my wife, the cobra is my baby. the porsche 993 is a fast car with about 280 km/h. but i can tell you that a porsche or a ferrari testarossa has no chance against the cobra. i`ve tested it on the autobahn and on the circuit. this car is unbelievable.
back to the caddy. i love cars which are different. i´ve had them all Jag´s, Mercedes, and BMW. the german cars are too perfect. In germany the deville is very seldom. i saw one at a service station and i talked to its owner, it was a friendly guy. so i had my test drive. i was impressed
because it was a special feeling you know what i mean. so next spring i will own one and will go around california for about 4 weeks.
have a nice time
