I will cut to the chase on this one. 2014 ATS 2.5L. A year and a half ago it started blowing warm from the passenger side. Everything said actuators, changed them all. Didn’t fix it, took it to the dealer, they charged me $1500 to change an actuator I already changed. Must have been some trick they pulled bc it blew cold when I got there, that ended a day or two later. They won’t honor anything. So I changed the expansion valve. It worked on the driver’s side and moderately on the passenger side. 8 months later it stops blowing cold air. I took the expansion valve off and the two aluminum pipe sections going to it. I blew them out with compressed air, wiped down re-installed to no avail. Now I replaced the compressor, and no cold air still. My guess is that it is the expansion valve again or the evaporator. Anyone have any ideas? I’m likely going to change all of it out. Condenser, expansion valve, evaporator, and even the box for vent control. I know the whole dash has to come out of course. Anyone ever need to change the evaporator or condenser?

Hmm, no I've not had to do a thing to my HVAC since I bought '13 in 2015. Still blows nice and cold on both sides.
Is it still blowing warm air only on the passenger side, or both sides now? Does changing the temp from HI to LO alter the temp at all?
Perhaps the system just needs recalibrated. To do so, you pull the HVAC fuse after identifying it in the owner's manual (I think it's in the driver's side dashboard fuse block). Replace the fuse, then turn the car on but do not start it (press and hold the Start button until the car turns on). Let it sit for a few minutes, then shut it off and restart the vehicle. That will help the HVAC system relearn the positions of the actuators...maybe the dealer forgot to do that but thinks they did.

I haven't noticed with the A/C (I'm more of a windows-down person), but in the winter I have that issue with heat where the passenger side blows ice cold. My work-around is to lower the passenger side all the way down to LO and then sync the two sides back up and it starts blowing hot (rarely I have to do it a second time for it to work, but I've never had to do it more than twice). Maybe doing something similar would work for you, raising the passenger temp to HI and then syncing them back up?
I've read about something on here about cycling the temperature between lowest cold and highest hot to reset things, sort of like what Sergio was saying. If you give it a search I'm sure the thread(s) will turn up. Good luck, hope you figure it out. HVAC systems in these cars is not very good, even down to air output (i.e. the foot well vent feels like an asthmatic blowing through a straw at my foot even at high fan speeds).
I have a similar issue I am working on. The vent temp start out cold but gets warmer and will then get cold again. I vacuumed and recharged the system with no change.
If you have a good scan tool there is a evaporator temp sensor. If this sensor is cold this should mean your ac is working at spec and there is another issue.
