Been dealing with 100 degree days for the last two weeks. A/C can handle it fine! Issue is with the blower. After driving to lunch for instance, come back to the car and the blower is running(with ignition off). Is this normal? Can't find anything referencing this in owner's manual or FSM. Car is 1998 STS. Thanks.

Not sure. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes. How is this activated or de-activated? Or is this another dealer-only fix? Thanks.

Older models could activate and deactivate it through the onboard diagnostics. Yours has to be done by a dealer with a Tech II. If it is activated, it should turn on about :45 min. after shutdown and run for 5 or 10 min. I think.

Have dealer also de-activate the auto-driver function. If onboard diagnostics begins to recognize that car has not been driven enough, it will tell car to take a trip.
