Nice! Very sharp looking car, and I love the wheels. Now I am going to have to clean mine and get some pics up.
When I first read the title I was thinking, "That's gonna look weird" but they actually match the car very well. The look good with the white paint. I wonder they would look on a black car though...hmm. Looks great though, real clean.
WOW.. GXP wheels look Great on Caddies....... Dammit dude... You got me looking for some NOW!! grrrrr $$$$$$$ you had BETTER donate some $$ to me via PAYPAL...:rant2: :rant2: :) :)
I'm saying I want a set of wheels like that for mine !
 Unquestionably the best looking set of aftermarket wheels yet....Well Done !!!
they're nice, a bit plain, but they fit the car perfectly.

how much did you pay?
Rock, yea, they are a little plain, but I had them for my 95 Aurora, which had some more curves and body lines to it, so they looked stunning in it (Link to it). I am surprised as well that they indeed fit so well on the STS. My biggest concern was that they weren't chrome, but I got to thinking, it might be nice to have probably one of the very few non-chrome 98-04 STS's.

I bought the rims, a good year and a half ago, on eBay for $725. Sets occasionally pop on and off if anyone's interested.

Thanks for all the comments :highfive:
Looks great! I told my brother to put GXP wheels on his STS when he had it, I knew they would look good

hey, if they look nice and aren't chrome, feel lucky. no backbreaking polishing and no need to avoid puddles at every turn. :p

was $725 for just the wheels, or tires also?
I hope that's not your garage in the first pic!
Nice.
The shed in the background makes the car stand out. :)

For the rims. The tires were $190ea. plus mounting/balancing/force balancing, etc.

Yea, the shed was just for a nice contrast. I was driving around east Orlando/UCF area looking for a good picture spot.
ah, jeez. :-/

down here in south florida, i can take an hour ride down to miami and get 20" chrome w/ tires & installation etc. etc. for $1200
Yea, I actually got the tires at a Tire Kingdom in Coral Springs. I go at school in Orlando, but I'm from Deerfield Beach actually. They almost had the best price for those tires (255/45/18 BF Goodwrench g-Force KWD), plus they were like one of few places that also did road force balancing.

I do know about those $1200 deals, but they are for the cheap of the cheap, 55 pounds wheels with no name tires. I had been searching for wheels for the Aurora for over 3 years, so I knew exactly what I wanted. These rims only weight 24lbs vs. the factory 16" wheels which are 21lbs, but they're an 1" wider to boot.
'tis true, no name tires. but who cares :-D

i got some 18's,

for my last car for a grand. tires lasted a solid 12,000 miles, and then i sold them with some tread still left for $650. :p

yeah my 18s must have weighed like 50 a pop w/ tire & everything

it was a workout carrying the 4 of them one by one up my stairs after i took them off my old car :p

those GXP's are 20s, am i right?
