That is my question. Want to hear from the Caddy-Heads on their experiences.

175K miles, new engine (w/1500 mi.), XMSN fluid life still says 100% fluid life. Shifts well and I don't abuse it - appx. 60/40 on highway/city ratio.

I have read some horrer stories here from some people that have serviced theirs and had problems.

Please offer your input if you have the time.

Thanks,

You didn't state what "service" you wished to perform.

If you are not experiencing any problems, and the fluid is the right color, and smells like it's supposed to (as opposed to being burned), then I say leave it alone. The PCM should flag the fluid-life based on not only its age, but also on your driving habits.

As they say in the Navy... "If it works, don't F with it!"
