I took my car to the shop and had them check out front the rattle. They said most of the noise went away when they disconnected the front stabilizer links. Is this a very hard job to do myself or does the car need to be up in the air? The service manual says to loosen the exhaust manifold which I don't have any experience on is there manifold gaskets to replace if I loosen the exhaust? Or is this on the jobs better left to the pros. Doesn't seem hard but you all know how that can turn out.

Stabilizer links are not a hard job. You do need to get under it via a jack and jack stands or ramps. I can't imagine the need to loosen exhaust manifolds.
