Hi !
While driving in my 97' Sedan DeVille with the A/C on,
I get occasionally a "Low Oil / High Engine Temp" message on my display.
Checked oil, reading was perfect.
Only happens when I put on A/C after about 35 minutes.
Car currently has 104k miles.
Meticulously maintained.

I would simply replace the oil level switch and the engine temp sensor -
both are cheap and fairly easy to replace -

Is the oil level switch even active when the engine is running? I was under the impression that it only checked the oil level at key on for obvious reasons. I wonder if the message is for oil pressure and would be a faulty pressure switch.
