You would need a whole lot of $$$ to do forced induction on a N*. If it were easy we would know of more than one out there...Mark and his turbo N* is the only one I know about. A get real excited whenever I watch that video.....

I would say that is a fair estimate, probably more though.

never seen a supercharger on a caddy. 1 or 2 turbo setups floating around. you figure out how to belt drive a supercharger and fit it under the caddy hood and GM will hire you. of course the grand prix's have an intake mounted charger. too bad the WP drive cannot be used but it turns at 1/2 engine speed so its too slow.

Since 2003 there have been so many threads and posts on this, in here and down in Northstar Performance, that I'm surprised the OP hasn't researched them.

The required equipment and labor at 2011 rates probably now places Mark's remote turbo install at around $20,000. (original job was somewhere around $15,000)

Supercharging the Seville/Eldorado/Deville FWD transverse N* is simply not feasible.

Mark did that Deville for like 15k right ?

didn't he loose use of just about every option in the car ?

so basicly he ended up with a Deville with a rear wheel drive set up i think and no working fetures of the car other then steering and driving ?

or am i thinking of another deville there was floating around here somewhere

That was a Deville that had a 454 big block dropped in and was converted to RWD. And yes, most of the electronics in that car no longer functioned.

The third time the 572 Deville went on sale on Craigslist the asking price was somewhere around $70,000.

For Blackillac, I doubt you could do a one-off Northstar FWD remote turbo cheaper; and, if the engine used Jake's studs, headgasket failure would be a non-issue, particularly with Cometic MLS gaskets.

For turbo install starters, open the hood, stand there, stare at the engine and scratch your right ear. Where do you get the exhaust gas to spin the turbo........?
