Ok, I have a '97 Catera and I want to replace the speakers eventually and put in an amp. I've read all over the site about the speaker sizes but they seem all over the place. Now, both sets of my speakers are in the doors (front and rear)........so has anyone replaced these speakers in their Catera that know what sizes both sets of these speakers are? I thought they were both 5.25 components but I don't think that's the case.

From my memory, front doors are 6 1/2, rear doors are 5 1/4, rear deck are 6 1/2, if you have a base catera (non bose) system you will not have the deck speakers, but you will have the cut outs to mount them is you wish.

I do have a base Catera. Thanks alot!! I was seeing sizes all over the place. I dont need the deck speakers......the ones in the door will do just fine.

Awesome, being non-bose, wiring in a new head unit and amps will be much simpler.
