Hi guys,

I have a 96 STS and I recently removed my front license plate and plate holder because I no longer need a front plate. I was wondering if anyone has removed those 2 black push "things" on the front bumper. I think it would give the car a much cleaner look.

Also, has anyone attempted a conversion to the newer style headlights I think they are 98+.

Thanks,

You can remove the bumper guards but as i recall there are two holes that would have to be bondoed and sprayied. As for the 98+ conversion, virtually impossible...however we do know of a couple people using a later model bmw 3 series angel eye headlight with slight modification but ive only seen it done to eldos.
I don't like the 98+ head lights.
You can convert to HID or do the angel eye thing.

Any idea how big the holes are?

Also, any pics of these eldos with 3 series lights?

Thanks!
I don't know how big the holes are but you may be able to cover them using screws with plastic screw covers that can be bought at autozone or the like for pennies. They have a plastic backing that the screw goes in and then a round plastic cover that clips over the backing piece hiding the screw (and hole) but I only remember seeing them in black (but u can paint em to your cars color) and just screw them in. I did this when I took the license plate bracket off...
