95 Fleetwood LT1...
While driving around, check engine light came on as cooling fan turned on. After 5 mins, it (cel) shut off as soon as fan or fans shut off also. It did it again later, and this time i shut off the car, and fired it again within a few seconds. CEL shut off and fan also off at the same time. i haven't had it scanned yet, but my guess is the header on passenger side probably fried the temp switch on the head. Ecm is trying to tell me something.
Any ideas or thoughts?

You need the code, but I bet you're on the right track with the ECT.

I recall EGR code turned fans on as well. It triggered CEL. Run on-board diagnostics and see.

It was the ECT. i unplugged the wire to it and it broke. All good now, thanks!
