I have been told that there is a oil pressure sensor that is associated with the fuel pump that will shut down the fuel pump if the oil pressure drops. If this is true can you tell me how to find and test this oil sensor?

Why are you immediately going after the oil pressure sensor?... Did a message come up on the dashboard saying "LOW OIL PRESSURE", "SHUT OFF ENGINE"? that's what that sensor would put up if it was seeing low oil pressure... What codes are you getting? Is the engine even turning over?
