At work I leave my keys in the car incase someone at the grarage has to move my car for some reason. (its gated and only employees go in there so its safe.) They were left on the center console today and were too hot to touch when i got in the car.

I went to start the car and nothing hapened. I tired a few times and it wouldnt even turn over. The security light was solid and it usually blinks. After about 3 times trying, I look at the DIC and it said "wait 3 min to start" So i waited 3 min and then it said "start car" when it did it fired right up. so my question is.... what the hell happened?

was the key in the sun so the security chip got hot and wouldnt read? or is there something else wrong with my car?

and to make my day worse, i got home and the dog has crapped all over the house and I had to clean it up cus my bros are too freaking lazy. ugh.... i hate animals.

Been there with the dog :(
The car could've been a few things. I've never heard of the key being hot causing that but it's possible I guess since as you warm the pellet, it COULD affect the resistance.

hmm, i've never had that effect with my car and I've seen many things! I'm also betting it's the temperature. Hey, if the read out said start in 3 minutes and it worked, I'd be happy. Then again, maybe your eldo is possesed...next time maybe it'll make you wait 15 minutes muahaha! :alien:
