I Have A 95 Deville 4.9 V8.
Yesterday I Turned It On Then Went To The Trunk And Put A Wheelchair In The Trunk When I Went To Get In The Drivers Seat The Car Was Off. I Turned The Key And The Car Turned But Would Not Start. After Turning The Key The Dash Display Said
Gear Indecator Fault..(something Like That)... Stop Engine...
Low Oil Pressure...low Battery..... All The Gears Are Lit Up And I Put On The Emergency Brakes , They Are Suppose To Release When I Put It In Gear But They Wont. So I Cant Move My Car .
Its Inclined So I Cant Check The Oil Level. But I Just Changed The Oil 2 Weeks Ago. And The Battery Is Good. I Have No Idea Whats Going On .
I Have 2 Codes Active I Checked Them Out And They Wont Clear

Prnd321 Switch Failure

Loss Of Powertrain Control Module Data

Is There Some Thing In The Trunk I Might Have Bumped To Cause A Short Or A Fuse ? Help In Need To Figure This Out .

Thanks

Well the second code I think come from power being lost?? And the 1st one may be the switch on the side of the tranny that tells the car what position the shift lever is in... I haven't crawled under my car to look but on the 03 Dodge Ram I had and on the 94 Ford F150 I had there was a switch with a wiring harness that the shift linkage connected to... since these are FWD cars it may be different... if you have access to a shop manual or at the least a Haynes or Chilton manual check there.
