my 95 sedan deville with the 4.9 is loosing coolant SLOWLY. It takes about 3-4 months to lose about half the coolant. I believe it may be a small hole in the headgasket due to overheating almost 2 years ago. There are no puddles or marks on the driveway where i park so I think its gettin burned up. can anyone give me a resonable price to replace the head gasket, or any other ideas where there may be a leak.

Have A Pressure Test Done On It. Any Local Garage Can Do This. Or You Can Buy A Pressure Testing Kit. Hook It Up Like Your Radiator Cap & Pump It Up & Check For Leaks. If You Can't See Any Visible. It Might Be A Head Gasket Or Even A Heater Core. Make Sure The Passanger Side Front Floor Doesn't Feel Damp.

Yes, if you are talking about pressurizing the cooling system. When the system is pumped up to 15 psi, it should hold 15 psi. If it slowly drops over an hour or two, it is leaking somewhere.
