Hi, posted a while ago on a not shifting problem i had. had it at the dealer and they wanted to pull it out to see if they can fix it. the replies here were all in agreement that the solenoids were to blame.

I have since replaced both solenoids and after the test drive, it still wont
shift. When it first did acted up it was one of those things, working fine and then all of a sudden we are driving around town and 3500 rpm and it seemed to be in first gear. there were no signs of slippage or anything.

Any thoughts on my next course of action?

Anyone have any ideas??? What is the process for checking the wiring?? car in gear? not in gear, key in accessory?? Im dying here need to get this working even for just a hour or two
Do you get a CHECK ENGINE light?

If so, get the codes by pressing OFF+THE COOL BUTTON on the AC module, then the screen where it tells you all your info should light up and then start spitting out codes like: P037 HISTORY, P094 CURRENT....and etc.

Give us the codes that say CURRENT in them.
Did you use the updated bracket that comes with the kit? The car won't shift without it. One of the checkballs in the valve body could also be in the wrong spot or missing.
i have no engine codes, i didnt replace the bracket, i looked everywhere and didnt see where it was to go. any diagrams of its location. im almost positive on the check balls in the right location but it dont take much to move them out of postion. i recheck them when i go back in
Put the bracket in that prevents the solenoids from going bad again anyway I think.
yup, it was the bracket, filter was sticking out 1/4 inch. a few big thanks for all who helped. these are the pics i was able to find to help this project, i hope it will help other
