$385 is a customary price due to the nature of the starter location and cost of the part. Be sure you know the "source" of the new part. The starter itself is around $189 and you also have to buy the intake gaskets. It is a dry intake ( no coolant goes through it). The job is not that hard but it is a little time consuming so assuming a shop charges $50 an hour it isn't out of the ball park.
