Is there some kind of trick to removing the starter? I can get it down almost the whole way but it just wont drop out. Im thinking i might have to remove the exhaust,but dont really want to do this. Any help.......Thanks94 devillle

you can remove the starter without removing the exaust , ive changed mine out twice (stupid autopart store starters).....the trick is to rotate it ...counter clockwise if memory serves,approx 35 degrees , then shove it past the crossoverpipe towards the tranny ....just think of it like a big monster heavy ass key ....shell only go in and out one way ....just be ready for it once you clear the pipe , cuz that damned starter decides to come down in a hurry at that point ....theyll remove money from your core charge if you screw up the slolenoid
