My 94 deville runs rough at cold start. It has the 4.9 and when I first start it it runs really rough and backfires a lot. When it warms up it runs just fine. Can somebody tell me where I should start looking for the problem. There are no PCM codes to direct me towards the source of the problem.

I think I found the cure for my problem. I think the EGR valve was sticking. So far the problem has not reappeared since I freed the EGR up.
