'95.

Big mirrors
No early OBD2 issues

They're all the same otherwise.

That’s right, the 93, 94 have the mirrors coming from the doors.
95, 96 like this 1 have the mirrors coming from the top corner edge and it’s a better design like this.

They're the same. All B and D-bodies have vented optisparks as far as I know.

The only difference on the '96 is 4 oxygen sensors instead of two.

As far as I know - and I'm like 90% certain, the non-vented opti was only an issue on Corvettes and Camaro/Firebird.

Also of note, all 3 years 94, 95, and 96 for B and D-body cars have slightly different transmissions.

Never heard about transmission being bad on any certain year and when you're taking about cars that old it doesn't matter anyway. For everything else no one year is better then others.

One thing I found out when I bought a 96 is the trouble codes for the engine can not be read on the CCM, you must read them with a OBD2 code reader.

I have a cheap Bluetooth one I got on Amazon that I keep plugged in all the time. Useful for looking at live data such as coolant temp, MAF, and O2.
