Im thinking of buying a 93 STS and was wondering what problems other owners have came across with this car. The one im looking at 120,000 miles.

What engine does it have. The 93 came with either the 4.9 or the 4.6 n*... But either way, problems pretty much occur randomly, so it's hard to give a definite answer to that question.

The one thing that comes to mind is to check the fuel filler pipe for rust because they were just bare steel pipes. Mine rusted out and had to be replaced a while ago. When it developed the leak, the MPG dropped to around 15mpg so if you're getting over 20mpg then it should be alright... Other than that, just follow the regular maintenance schedule and it should live a long life.

Thanks I didn't even realize I was at 100! Where is the fuel filler pipe at so I can take a look at it tommorow?

The fuel filler pipe is behind the rear wheel well. Its the one that you stick the nozzle in every time you fill the tank. It runs from the fuel door to the fuel tank.
