With everything else working properly, what is the first ( & second) thing to check when the blower doesn't come on?

It worked the last time I drove the car, and 2 days ago, the blower came on for a second, then off - then on, then it went off, and never came on again.

The 30 amp fuse(?) is connected to the A/C, but the A/C works......

I searched for old posts, but my question hasn't been answered.

I don't want to spend a hundred bucks at a Cadillac dealer only to find it's a fuse.
