Can someone tell me how to change the turn signal relay in a 93 Deville. Apparently it is not under the dash next to the fuse box. I can see the hazard flasher relay. I read somewhere that you might have to take the dash panels out to get to the turn signal relay? How so I do that without tearing it up?

Do you mean turn signal flasher? If so, I remember it being on the other side of the steering column. If I remember correctly, the hazard is round, but the turn signal is rectangular.

yes, the turn signal flasher. I see the hazard. If the turn signal is rectangular is it under the dash or do I have to pull out the instrument panel to get to it. Not exactly sure what it looks like. Something tells me it is rectangular. Auto parts store says I need to pull old one out so they can match it and they can't pull up any pics of the ones they have..LOL.This is frustrating for something so easy.

The more I search, the more confused I get, but as I remember from my '92, the hazard is round and the turn signal looked like this (maybe someone with a better memory can confirm). It was under the dash, next to the column (don't remember which side), but it was tucked up pretty far as I recall.

Apparently this flasher is different in some of the model years. It's a round unit located behind the fuel data center. After removing about 12 screws and carefully pulling the plastic wood grain panel off, and pulling the fuel data center out, I could see it. Even still, it's difficult to get your hands in there unless you have hands like a 3 yr old. Nevertheless, all this trouble for a $7 part from autozone. In my 91 Deville, the flasher was located under the dash next to the fuse box and took 5 minutes to change. This took about 30 minutes.
