had that previous starting problems now will fire after ignition module change..


now it acts like its out of fuel... i suspect fuel pump... it will not start unless i throw some gas in the intake throttle body..


how do I do a manual fuel pump test?? isn't there a jumper wire on the diagnostic box??

In 92 Eldo, you have electric fuel pump....
You have fuel pressure test port in the fuel rail assembly. I think all service shops have pressure gauge - and this isnt expensive job to do...
Those symptoms can do clogged fuel filter too (its located near tranny, below the car)

on my car, you can jump a wire to manually turn on the pump and verify that its going.. is this possible here??

Also, I entered ECM DATA #9 and 10 one of which I think is fuel pump voltage and it showed zero. But I could be doing that wrong.

There IS voltage on both sides of the fuel pump fuse.

no active codes.. something went wrong though, since the day it died..

MAT signal code and VCC engagement code (tranny) appear in history now.. also the cigarette ligher fuse was blown..

no current codes... still no fuel..

the crappy book is not helping... i want to find the wires that go to the fuel pump and check for voltage

is there a way to view fuel pump voltage in the ECM data?
