Ok everyone I'm new to the site and had a question. I'm really stuck on this. I have a 92 eldo that has a dead miss in it. I've changed the plugs and wires but didn't make anything better. I then installed a new coil, cap, and roter. Well same thing still happens. I took it to my dealer to have them look at it and they said my injectors are bad so I had them replace them and yet it still has a dead miss. I have good fuel pressure. I'm lost on what is wrong? Checked the timing and that is good also. Could i have a bad valve?

Welcome!!! Thanks for coming!

is it an intermittant (sp) miss, or does it miss every time........? If its all the time, you need to determine which cylinder is missing....... You can do that by unplugging each plug wire from the distributor with the engine running... Whichever wire doesnt affect the engine speed is the bad cylinder..... Once you determine it from there, we'll try and figure the rest out.......

Also, have you checked for trouble codes???

It started off as a intermitant but know it seems to be all the time.. my shop hooked it up to a scope and every time they tried it it would miss on a different cylinder so thats why they thought it was the fuel injectors.

If there is injector problem, then good cleaning with some injector cleaner will help...

Just to be safe, I would do a compression test. Even though you say the shop verified that the "miss" jumps from cylinder to cylinder. Since they had it on a scope, did they verify that it was an ignition miss? Did they make sure to have the Cylinder #1 reference lead hooked up? I've seen guys leave that off and everytime you start it up, it resets and calls another cylinder #1. This can give you the effect of a moving miss even though it is not.
