I have a 1992 Deville that is giving me some major issues with the headlights.

About a week ago while driving the headlights flickered off for about 30 secs while driving. They came back on promptly. Then again a couple days later...this time for a few mins....both lamps out...stopped the car wait a few mins they come back on....
Now they headlights wont turn on at all...

Other details...
No blown maxifuses...
No blown fuses.....
Headlights are silver stars

Brights work.....just not regular headlights.
And it doesnt matter if using twighlight or regular switch...
always just the regular headlamps not working....
brights continue to operate
all other lights on the car work fine.

I have read about a relay..but I can not identify which relay it is....
They are not marked clearly under the hood in the maxi fuse relay panel.

also the high/low switch doesnt feel mushy or broken...I hear a defined click when pulling it back...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

I don't see any burned wires under the hood.....Any other suggestions?

Does anyone know for sure which relay it is?

I need to fix this asap....
thanks for all the help in advance.

I would suggest going back to OEM bulbs and seeing if all works out fine. It won't cost much compared to the price of a relay that you don't know is bad or not.

SilverStars should be fine. Silvania is a reputable company, and are not the overdriven bulbs with blue tint.

My guess? Toasted contacts in the headlight dimmer switch. As always, test to be sure.
